Lead AV Installation Technician

We’re currently seeking an experienced Lead AV Installation Technician to join our field team based out of our East Bay office. You’ll play a vital role in delivering reliable, professional AV solutions for clients across the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure AV systems including ceiling projectors, speakers, microphones, wall-mounted displays, and video wall systems
  • Assemble equipment racks and perform high-quality system wiring
  • Terminate and test CAT6 UTP/STP cabling
  • Interpret cable schedules and AV system line drawings
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers on-site
  • Travel to client sites in and around the Bay Area

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience installing AV/IT systems
  • Valid state installation license and/or relevant certifications (where applicable)
  • Strong knowledge of AV tools, hardware, and construction site safety
  • Comfortable operating man lifts, material lifts, and heavy-duty tools
  • Familiarity with ceiling/wall composition (drywall, metal studs, concrete, etc.)
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows + MS Office)
  • Proven ability to set up and troubleshoot AV systems
  • CTS certification is helpful but not required
