Foodbank of Contra Costa & Solano

AV Systems to Support Community Impact

Project Introduction and Scope

As part of its mission to fight hunger across 16 Northern California counties, the Foodbank of Contra Costa & Solano Counties needed to upgrade the AV systems in two of its warehouse facilities. A longtime partner of Feeding America, the foodbank required affordable, effective audiovisual tools to support communication, volunteer coordination, and staff events—all while staying within a strict nonprofit budget. AV Structural was selected to deliver a solution that was reliable, easy to use, and powerful enough to carry across open warehouse spaces.

Scope:
Full AV system design and installation across two large warehouse facilities, including video display, sound reinforcement, and user-friendly controls

The Challenge

With limited funds typical of nonprofit operations, the Foodbank needed a cost-effective system that didn’t compromise on functionality or reach. Both facilities required an extra-large video wall, a voice lift microphone system, and clear sound across wide warehouse spaces—all delivered on a lean budget.

The Execution

AV Structural designed a custom, scalable solution that met every requirement while minimizing cost. By selecting efficient, high-value components and streamlining installation across both locations, our team delivered a system that was powerful, flexible, and easy for staff to operate.

The Results

The Foodbank now operates with a robust, easy-to-use audiovisual system that supports presentations, community events, internal training, and volunteer coordination. AV Structural’s work ensures that budget doesn’t stand in the way of mission-critical communication.
